I’m Luis. I’m pursuing a Master’s degree at Towson University under the Data Science track. I’m a total nerd for anything CLI. I’m a huge fan of what nix has to offer. It has simplified my development environment so much that I get the ick when I can’t use it.
I love exploring open source projects and participate in discussions about them.
A few open source projects that I came to enjoy recently:
I work as a software developer for SecurEd, a not-for-profit startup that creates products that aids in teaching, learning and research of cybersecurity curriculum. CLARK is one such product.
I’ve led multiple workshops for the Software Engineering Club at my university, covering topics from markup languages to the introduction of using the command line. My best coursework project was developing an event-tracking application that helps students discover campus activities.
